Resilient trees can weather a violent storm because their roots are
deep and firm.
~Thich Nhat Hanh
I captured this tree while hiking Saturday. I find trees captivate my attention often when I am hiking. This particular tree had a lot of unique character. The sun’s position made for a great shadow. I remember reading somewhere photography is about being in the right place at the right time.
I looked at this picture I wondered, what story could this tree tell. What did it see in its life. You could tell it was resilient, How deep are it’s roots. How many braches did it give birth to? How long has it been here? How many storms has it been through? How many more will it see?
