I stood there and looked at Half Dome and wondered what it looked like 1000 years ago, 100 years ago. What has happened does affect us. We are who we are because of our history. I am who I am because of the choices I made, some were great and some we just not good. If I changed the ones I didn’t like I would not be who I am no, I would probably be named Bob and possibly have no teeth. Imagine what Half Dome would be if we tried to changes a few things in its past?

We have had many conversations on this topic. I think this quote speakers to it. Are past/ history is what makes us who we are.. We can even go back beyond our life time and see how history has contributed to making us who we are today
