This was the second time seeing No Doubt live. The first time was at the Paul Paul Theater at the Fairgrounds. I am pretty sure they were at one of the New Rock 104 Birthday Bashes plus or take a year before this.
Cake opened up for this show. I like Cake a lot but they are so much better in smaller venues. This was the Tragic Kingdom Tour. Gwen was really owning the stage and that night. You could see how she was becoming aware of the magnitude of her stardom. She was sexy and confident and artful with a skater edge,
My favorite song that night was Tragic Kindom. It is still my favorite of that album.
