My Dave Matthews Band in Fresno Experience

The Show last night blew my expectations!!!!

It has been 8 years since I have seen Dave Matthews Band. The music
since producer Steve Lillywhite has not been as rich for me, so my
expectations were kind of low. So last night was so great!! The Set
list was awesome, but no two step, warehouse or lie in our graves

Seven
Funny The Way It Is
Why I Am
Proudest Monkey
One Sweet World
The Song That Jane Likes
#41
Spaceman
Dive In
Grey Street
Dancing Nancies
Shake Me Like a Monkey
Crush
You and Me
Tripping Billies

Jimi Thing

My faves in last nights set list were Proudest Monkey, One Sweet
World, Grey Street and Dancing Nancies. I was surprised to here The
song that Janes Likes and really digged that the closed (not encore)
with Tripping Billies.
Dave's dancing was really cool, he was so goofy last night. The Sax
guy Jeff Coffin tore it up last night. Him and Tim Reynolds battled
jammed for a freaking long time. If I was to say who was the star of
last night was I would go with Jeff Coffin he rocked it.
I am so glad I did not pass this show up and I can see other shows in
the forecast. It was so nice to be back a high energy show with people
that were fantastic. I haven't danced that long in a couple of years.
Thank you Dave for coming to Fresno.

Finally, Fresno, the Dave Matthews Band

To be able to drive home in only 10 minutes," says Jason Hammack who will be seeing the band for the 14th time, "that's like the best thing ever.

Now I am famous!! well locally at least. Thanks to @MikeOz from the Fresno Bee for interviewing me for this DMB article. I am pretty jazzed about seeing Dave Matthews Band in Fresno. I just bought 11 row tickets this week and sold my other (not the best) seats.
I haven't seen Dave Matthews Band since 2001, 8 years goes by pretty fast. I remember the very first Dave show at Shoreline Amphitheater in July 6,1997. I still have that ticket http://www.flickr.com/photos/situationz/1752876830/. At that time I wasn't a very big Dave Matthews fan, but my buddy Brian Kerney told me and my good friend, Troy, at the time that they put on a great show. That was all I needed to hear and so we bought the tickets for $25. That was the best $25 I have ever spent, not to mention I was hooked on seeing Dave Matthews. I have seen him/them 13 times and even flew out to Denver and saw Alanis Morissette do Don't Drink The Water live with Dave Matthews Band. Here are the tickets that I have save over time http://www.flickr.com/photos/situationz/tags/davematthewsband/ and I am ready to add another one to the collection. Two Days until Dave Matthews Band is in Fresno .... Yeah
